Things are hotting up

Yes, the heat is on, and we're not just talking about weather. Feltonbury approaches - 27th June, so time to see to the finishing touches. Village Hall Centenary celebrations 22nd-28th August, plenty time for more finishing touches you might think, but it slips away when you get too relaxed!

In your spare moments you could nip down to Ushaw Historic House in Durham to see a touring exhibition of Joan Miro's prints, on until 14th June. Another Joan, but pronounced without the Spanish accent, is Joan Eardley's Sea at Catterline exhibition at the Granary, Berwick, from 6th June till 11th October.

Well done to Carmen whose painting was "Highly Commended" at the Dovecote Centre's Amble Open Exhibition, on until June 7th.
