It's all go, everyone is firing on all paint tubes. Welcome to our 3 new members - details will follow and I hope to get some of their work up on the website gallery soon.

Applications for Alnmouth Arts Festival are invited by 31st December, and for Woodhorn's Northumberland Open Exhibition you have until 4th December.  Just saying!

If you are planning going Christmas shopping in a big city soon, you could fit in an exhibition or two and forget the shopping. For example, at the Laing in Newcastle are works by local artist Nerys Johnson "Disability and Practice" till 6th December. If you're off to Edinburgh try "Radical Harmony - Neo-impressionists" at the Scottish National, (that's the likes of Seurat, Signac and Pisarro - but you knew that), and also an exbhibition of the Scottish Colourist FCB Cadell. Then there's the &Gallery in Dundas Street where November's artist is Elfyn Lewis (abstracts). If you wait till the January sales you can see "Turner in January" at the Royal Scottish Academy. As for London, well, 'nuff said, there's plenty to see there if you have the stamina.
